I never heard about SA incidents in my hometown, only about robbers that broke into some houses. Nothing happened to me. Oradea, the bigger city close to my hometown, is pretty safe as well. I never had any incidents, I only heard some bad news. I don't stay too late in the city, alone, so I don't have much experience with the nightlife.
