We went on a night out in Moalboal as a group of girls and had no issues all evening. We moved bars a couple of times due to the vibes and ended up drinking a lot. We all felt safe the whole time. Locals were friendly and helpful and we felt safe the whole time.
Posted: February 18, 2025Its okay if you have experience with solo travel but if youre a foreigner it is very scary since people here think you’re rich, it makes you look like a walking target for muggers and kidnappers. I would be careful with that and research the places you will visit first. There are parts of the Philippines that is fairly safe.
Posted: February 5, 2025Be careful always wear condom when you have sex with people in zambales a lot STD & HIV people but good paradise Every party people from metro manila tries to change there life in zambales but they cant stop sharing love so minors kinda get it
Posted: February 4, 2025its safe because its a city, some areas are only dangerous at night but not really. it’s fairly safe to walk at night for ladies. Just be careful who you’re with especially if you just met them. Always be cautious in your soroundings
Posted: January 22, 2025Cubao, Quezon City is pretty safe, a lot of working professionals in my area. I have been living here since 2018 and it has been pretty safe. There are police making rounds and a lot of security guards as well.
Posted: January 22, 2025There will be places to walk any time of the day, that's IT Park. But outside of that, I don't feel safe walking in the dark specially alone... I'd rather not. Though it's pretty much safe to go around as long as the sun is out still. Just be vigilant with your belongings when visiting downtown(Colon area)
Posted: January 18, 2025Manila is like NYC, where the hussle and bustle are a norm. Fairly safe, just need to be always aware of your surroundings cos there are still bad people everywhere. Overall, Manila is safe and convenient in terms of food, transport and actually a lot of things to offer.
Posted: January 6, 2025I would say it’s safe, especially if you go around with someone who knows the area. There are also specific transportation vehicles, i’ve been commuting my whole school life so I can say that is also pretty good. The people are especially nice, hospitable and friendly.

Manila feels safe if you're cautious, but as a girl, I stay alert. Crowded spots can mean pickpockets, and night walks aren’t ideal. I stick to well-lit areas and trust my instincts to stay secure. Be street smart
Posted: January 3, 2025It's pretty well safe in the mornings and in at night, take precautions. Most developed areas are pretty safe because there are guards around. It's okay to ask anyone for advice on specific places you want to go.

Hello everyone! I’m Gayle, 23. I am graduating from uni in June (yay) so I plan to just travel for a while after that. I’ve already been doing some traveling since January and have been to Thailand, Japan and just got back from Bali last week. I’m already set to backpack across SEA on October starting in Vietnam and just see where the journey leads me! Hoping to meet some friends along the way :)

Hello, travellers! I explored 14 of 18 regions in my home country. If you need info and tips in exploring the Philippines, just ask me out. Nearest airport to me is Clark (2-3 hrs from Manila) and it is also a recommended gateway to Cebu and Palawan, so you'll skip the hectic capital. Am available on weekends. Let me know if you need travel buddy 👣 I am into culture, history, and nature as a social science teacher and environment advocate / youth leader. In my travels, I also allocate language / culture exchange and volunteer opportunities. I like to hike and the outdoors; I scaled the highest mountain in the Philippines in November 2023. I am doing solo travel once in a while and I am completing my Southeast Asia trip, hopefully in 2025. Dream destination is Machu Picchu 😊
