manila is quite safe in the morning, yet u should always look out at night. however, there are certain places where it is safe such as BGC and Rockwell! i personally usually go there with my friends cause it’s fun, safe, and clean around that area

Compared to other parts of Metro Manila, Quezon City is considered relatively safe. There's much more space and personal space. Still, QC is still a huge place, and outside of Diliman where I reside, and Cubao-Katipunan areas which I frequent, I would not be comfortable alone, especially at night.
Posted: June 16, 2025Philippines is a very hospitable country, just dont go to slum areas. And it’s okay to travel alone, and commuting here, there’s bus that offer P2P from airport to where you’re going. Just a safety reminder for your belongings if you’re going to take public transport

I've been living in Cebu for around 3 years now. When I first arrived, my mobile was stolen, something I wasn't warned about beforehand, though I later found out that petty theft has been an issue in certain areas. That said, my overall experience has been positive. The people here are generally helpful and kind, and despite that early incident, I feel safe walking around even at night.
Posted: June 12, 2025Crowded areas such as downtown or in marketplace areas are quite known to have pickpockets. Even public buses have pickpocketers, so please be careful. Late night walks alone are not really encourage. But if you want to do it, better do it with a group. Men are always men whenever and wherever so let's just be careful and stay safe ladies~
Posted: June 10, 2025Cebu City is a decent city especially for the working group. It is mostly safe, but given the considerably high population, it's still not 100% safe especially at night and in certain areas of the city.

This is the further inland part of Busuanga Island (people may know it as Coron). We stayed near the jumpoff point to black island - so extremely far from where tourists usually stay. For this area, I'd say: - Public transport 6/10. there's set times for UV/vans going to the town. But motorcycle rentals are possible with local hotels - Food 4/10. Not much choices, even karinderyas are rare - Budget is average - Sights are 11/10. Black island is DEFINITELY a place I would recommend to visit! The boatmen, guides, and caretakers of the island are indigenous people of Busuanga. They practice utmost care for the environment and appreciate equally responsible tourists :)
