Cebu had very fun activities but would only recommend to stay in Cebu for about 3-5 days. There are a few very nice activities such as whale shark snorkeling, canyoneering, swim with turtles and big school of sardines, visiting waterfalls, and exploring Cebu city. Me and my friend did all of them, but only needed about 3-4 days for it. Then there weren’t that much to do. We stayed in Cebu city and Moalboal.

So far, it has been safe for me. but i've seen on the news the crimes around here. Especially at night. it's safe to go in groups or have 1 male with you. being alone in Cebu at night is moderate to high risk. but in the morning, it's all good. just avoid Downtown or the place where those street people are.

Cebu is overall safe in public and open spaces where people can meet and gather around, but not too much crowded too coz there are possible pick pocketers. however, I wouldn't go to secluded areas or remote ones without a friend because we can never know what will happen when youre alone especially as a woman.

I've been living in Cebu for around 3 years now. When I first arrived, my mobile was stolen, something I wasn't warned about beforehand, though I later found out that petty theft has been an issue in certain areas. That said, my overall experience has been positive. The people here are generally helpful and kind, and despite that early incident, I feel safe walking around even at night.

Hey, I’m Alyssa! I’m the kind of girl who’ll ask way too many questions at brunch because I’m genuinely curious about everything—except boring business talk (that can wait). Friends say I tend to steer the convo without trying, but really, I just get excited about the stories people carry. I live for spontaneous plans, deep dives into random topics, and warm, cozy moments that don’t feel performative. If we end up laughing over the tiniest things, we’re probably already friends. Drop me a message—I promise I’m a lot less intimidating once we start talking. Kinda.
