Depends on the district obviously, but even the areas that are more prone to crime are usually about internal beef of people living there and not attacking unrelated persons. All the upper areas seem completely safe to me, never been catcalled or felt unsafe walking alone even in the middle of the night.

Super safe, small place mostly for families. Not a touristy place but a lot of people who live there are rich so there are thefts from home sometimes or cars. Other than that the most safe place ever.

Amirim is a very safe place. People are very nice and are always happy to help when they can. I feel very comfortable walking everywhere and at every time. I would definitely recommend visiting Amirim as it's a beautiful quiet place.
Posted: August 14, 2024It feels safe to me, everyone knows everyone so if someone starts harassing us we tell each other to stay away from them .. I myself have not been harassed or bothered before, it's a safe place overall
Posted: August 12, 2024Tel Aviv is very safe. Everyone here is super nice and helpful. No worry about going out in the dark. Sexual assaults, robbing or attacks while walking in the street never happen here. Women can feel very safe here.
Posted: July 20, 2024When you are a women and you are different in the view you will probably need to know people will comment at you,not necessarily in a sexual way but they will.i love my city but it’s something you need to consider if you decide to travel here.

Tel Aviv is a great beach city with lots of great restaurants, museums and clubs! The public transportation is a little bit unreliable, but it definitely works, and is easy to navigate. People are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting!

It's much safer than people think. I grew up in Serbia but I feel safer walking around cities in Israel than there. There's much less sketchy areas, mugging is less known of, people are more there to help or leave you alone.

Overall tel Aviv is a really nice and safe city, lots of people walking around everywhere and al the time. The south parts of the city can be sometimes unpleasant, specially after dark, but where there’s a lot of people, bars and restaurants it won’t be a problem.

I think that Haifa is relatively a safe place, maybe some area require more alertness, but I've walked around a lot in the dark myself. Some areas in downtown are perhaps a bit more tricky and I would avoid...

I took my mom to Israel in June and we just spent some time with my friends there. We felt safe and people are amazing there. It’s my forth times to go to Ein Gedi and my mom’s first time. There are too many places worthy to explore especially some hidden gems brooks where only locals know. Don’t miss out the warm hummus, fresh fruits, and Arabic coffee in Damascus gate (First shop at entrance of the right ally)
Posted: August 27, 2024I went in 2016, so I felt relatively safe. It was with a large, organized group, so there were other people around at all times. We stayed in a hotel and then mostly explored the city on foot. This city is truly unique and I will never forget my visit. There is so much to explore and admire, the three days we stayed felt insufficient. I would absolutely recommend you visit.

Jerusalem is a city with great history, so I’ll just make a few recommendations regarding the edperience Cinema hostel is a very friendly enviroment where you can find affordable accomodation. The bakery right in front of it is amazing. Try not to visit the old city on thursday evening because of shabbat. That’s it <3

I was lucky visiting israel before current events (no political comment here.) Probably one of the nicest places i've been. Not like a typical middle eastern city. Some travellers actually say its middle eastern-california lol. I stayed at jungle jaffa hostel and i wont stay anywhere else if i go again. It was one of the main things that made tel aviv such an experience. Old jaffa is a must see and beach is a real gem. They are at the same place already. Everywhere is walking distance. I didnt use uber even once Because airport is accessible too. Only fault about Tel aviv was it wasnt budget friendly... I ate my meals at hostel (which was included during summer) but 50cl beer was around 10 shekel (2.5€), a cocktail at a cheap bar 20 shekel, breakfast with omelette 50 shekel. Other than that Tel aviv is a living city, techno parties last whole weekend, beach is not crowded but alive, population is young and traveler friendly
