Hello! I’m digital nomad and solo adventurer. Currently i live between Lisbon and Bali :)
Kimberly
After four years of living in Bali and traveling SE Asia, I am on a big adventure through Europe and Africa, exploring a year of traveling in the sharing economy with both travel hosts on apps like this and doing a work exchanges with NGOs and people who need marketing help. I’m aiming for a year of this and hoping it’s a wonderful experience and culture exchange that will make for a great book. I am a former journalist who today works independently as a writer, marketer, strategist and consultant. I’m currently specializing my business in AI and am learning as much as I can as fast as I can, and am happy to share with you what I know! I will be working part time during my travels, but quietly as I keep calls and meetings to a bare minimum. Work aside, I love art, music, food, wine and of course traveling. I’m a very laid back person and have lived in all kinds of settings from communal settings to a van, so I am not too fussy and can easily adapt to others and new surroundings. I am really looking forward to what this experience brings! I’m keenly interested in not only the sharing and sharing exchange economies, but the people who live within it and have been enriched by it. As I’m sure many others have discovered, Couchsurfing is largely men and many who are clearly using the site for romantic purposes, so I’d really prefer stays with women and enjoy the comfort and companionship of sisterhood.
