I rarely go outside, but I can say it's fairly safe, especially around Alam Sutera. Since it is a good highly-developed neighborhood. However, going outside over 2 AM should be quite considerably a "no", since it is fairly quiet. I considered going back after 1 AM sometimes and never experienced any uncomfortable-ness, even though I use gojek most of the time.
Posted: January 9, 2025Tangerang is a good city for women, you can walk alone in the night and the public transportation is safe and female friendly at any time. You can also report to the local manager for public transport if anything happens. It also has special space for women in many public transportation and places
