Is Sceaux safe for solo female travelers?

It's in the suburbs of Paris. Sceaux is like 70% old people and families and you've got 30% of students (there's a law campus and 2 specialized post grad schools). Regarding the safety, i'd say there is one neighborhood not quite nice but it's not in the center of the city where i live so no probs with that. I love to walk around with my friend till midnight, never had a problem

Sceaux is a town in the south of the suburb of Paris, really quite. There is a parc with a castel, a pedestrian street leading to nice coffee places around the church square, a market during the week end and cultural events. However, as the city is pretty rich, it can happens people getting robbed in the public transportation, or people trying to steal in other people’s home.. Moreover, as it’s calm city, nobody is outside during night time, so always be careful if you’re alone walking in the streets by night.
