It's a safe town but I'm not one to go out much at night so I can't judge the night, I think everyone should be responsible for their own safety .The important thing is to wear clothes that cover your body.
Posted: May 27, 2025Its not bad if you stay in the developed areas but going into unknown areas where you dont have someone who knows people will get you hurt even as an Egyptian. Its very easy to invite a friend who’s goal is everyones safety for an overall better experience and efficiency in exploration
Posted: May 25, 2025Egyptians are funny actually, but they also how to know trick the tourists. So, PAY ATTENTION! One time I was using public toilet in Cairo and when I was about to leave toilet, I was looking for some toilet papers. One lady handed out for me and ask for the money immediately. So do not interact with anyone you done know 😭
Posted: May 25, 2025I have been living there since the beginning of 2025 and all seems to be good when it comes to that part, I live right next to the Nile so I enjoy the view of the river, trees, lovely neighbors and peace around

Cairo is pretty safe if you know the dos and don’ts there so try to always get the experience of a local to avoid any kind of trouble, if you’re by yourself try to be in the touristy areas, and if you want to experience the local non-touristy places try to do it with a local. Stay safe ladies.

Hi! I’m Sherifa, a 23 year old fresh graduate, currently working as a remote Data Engineer for a german company. I’d say I’m a very fun and social person, down for everything! I love all forms of art: literature, cinema, music… I am also a proud runner, currently training for my first half marathon :)) and I LOVVEEE animals. I adore cats and dogs, we have 6 and 1 respectively. If you ever visit cairo, please feel free to ever reach out, even if for only a chat! Or to join me on my runs, or to meet my friends, or as a very mediocre but fun tour guide 😌

I'm an Egyptian introverted girl. Ironically, I love traveling, but I've never had the chance to travel anywhere. Maybe one day I can travel all over the world.
