Felt very safe, lots of tourists both Argentinian and foreign. Activities are well sign posted, and there are lots of people on trails. Public transport was easy to use and felt safe too. There were lots of families about too.

Argentina
I have been in Bariloche twice. First Summer 2021 and then on a whim, I decided to go in Winter season in 2023. What a ride! I always felt safe even at night and you can go on a budget but do that only in Summer, if you really want to get the Winter Experience get a loose budget for any extra equipment or activities you wanna experience in the snow. I can't wait to got back to Bariloche someday
