Hello! My name is Carsen and I’m a busy professional LA native living in Van Nuys in the San Fernando Valley, about 25 minutes from LAX (one very convenient bus called the Flyaway goes from LAX to Van Nuys just down the street from me). I have a very large but incredibly friendly dog, a cat, and live in a house. I have a boyfriend who stays over on weekends, so if you’re here over a weekend he may be around. He has two little dogs that come with him. I'm a veteran solo traveler - I took my first solo trip at 18 and have taken many since. Traveling alone has been one of the most liberating experiences of my adulthood and I'm glad to find a community that values that too 🥹 I take a month off every summer and try to find new places to go. I am hoping to find friends in new cities and make memories! I have hosted a few times from TL and I've had lovely experiences so I am hoping to keep it going. I am able to host about once a month or so. If I'm not able to host, still very happy to grab a coffee and make a new friend if time permits.

I’m a high school language teacher, and although I’m older, I have a youthful attitude. I like to meet new people, try new food, and learn something new as I explore new places. I went to Raleigh last year with my partner. It was super fun! Some of the attractions in NC are very fun. I enjoyed being there. I felt safe for the most part but after dark it was a little sketchy.

i felt safe but a bit expensive. i really enjoyed with universal studios. i stayed at hilton orlando lake buena vista. the overall experience with the hotel was good. i would give 7/10. the main problem was to find anything to eat at night (all shops were closed)
