About me

Hi my name is Athena and I'm visiting Belgium for the first time to volunteer on local organic farms! I love having language exchange and cultural exchange experiences! I also love the idea of this women-supported community that can bring people off other social media and reduce services like Airbnb that drive up local housing prices.

About me

As a former ballet dancer, my passion for culture runs deep – you'll often find me at the museum, lost in the beauty of an opera, immersed in a ballet, or captivated by a philharmonic performance. I'm a true explorer at heart, whether I'm wandering through a new city on foot, seeking out its hidden gems, marveling at the architecture, finding fabulous fashions, taking a dance class, or simply enjoying the perfect pastry with a celebratory glass of champagne. Meeting new people and sharing these experiences is what truly enriches my life.

About me

Hello! My name is Carsen and I’m a busy professional LA native living in the San Fernando Valley, about 25 minutes from LAX (one very convenient bus called the Flyaway goes from LAX to Van Nuys just down the street from me). I have a large incredibly friendly dog, a cat, and live in a house. I'm a veteran solo traveler - I took my first solo trip at 18 and have taken many since. Traveling alone has been one of the most liberating experiences of my adulthood and I'm glad to find a community that values that too 🥹

About me

Hello ladies! I'm Megan and I'm 32 years old. I'm on the app because I love to travel and meet new people. In a typical week at home (Pueblo, Colorado, USA), you can find me taking long walks or going roller skating at the park after work and playing with my cats in the evening. I enjoy going to queer spaces, reading, exploring, and taking classes to learn new skills. The last class I took was on how to turn silverware into rings and that was super fun! My intention is to travel to Greece in September of 2025 for the Skala Eressos gathering on Lesvos from Sept 7-20. I am a lesbian and am excited to be around people who will love and accept that side of me at the gathering. Ideally, someone can host me during that time!

About me

I'm 40s woman, recently divorced and ready to finally get more traveling in! As of 2025, my top trip priority is Portugal. I love to explore cities as well as nature. I like to get out of the tourist spaces and really experience a place like the locals. I enjoy great music and people. I love to horseback ride, hike, raft, and do warm weather outdoor adventures (not big into skiing or most cold weather sports but I'm open to new experiences). I'm mostly a solo traveler so I'm looking for hosts/guides and new travel buddies. I currently live in Greenville SC USA, a small and diverse (for the southeast) city with tons of festivals and outdoor activities. I live close to the mountains, lakes and waterfalls (about 1 hour south of Asheville, NC). Happy to show you around my little slice of heaven.

About me

Hi! 👋 💚 First, I just want to say this app is such a fantastic idea. The concept of encouraging women's autonomy while prioritizing their safety is just 🤌🤌. Okay, now that that's out of the way... I'm Amber! I'm a single gal living just 20 minutes outside of St. Louis. I'm considered the fun aunt to at least 10 children (4 of which are actually related to me). When I'm not at the petting zoo or having dance parties to Gracie's Corner, I'm spending my time kayaking, hiking, traveling to concerts, playing volleyball, pickleball, or just relaxing at home with a book (or more realistically, whatever new reality TV show that has been released on Netflix). I'd love to travel, make new friends who have the same hobbies as me, or host you for your visit to St. Louis!

About me

Hi my name is Shani (Shaynee), I’m a very young minded 59 year-old single woman living in Las Vegas. I was a radio announcer for over 20 years and toured the country as a public speaker, so warning I come by my big mouth honestly😆. So obviously I love live music, sporting events, comedy shows, strip shows…wait that sounds bad, I mean shows on The Strip like Cirque du Soleil etc.😂, enjoying the beautiful desert landscape like red rock Canyon, I live only 15 minutes from there! I love to travel so last year I started dog sitting my way around the world🤣. I’ve met some amazing women while I was overseas that have become dear friends and I continue to grow my international tribe! I can’t say I’m the best tour guide for Las Vegas but I’ll do my best! If I’m around and you’d like to get together I’m happy to meet up and show you that not everything in Las Vegas is about gambling🤷‍♀️

Petrified Forest National Park, Solo travel

The park itself is absolutely gorgeous. If you like geology, it's a must-see. Petrified trees are fascinating. The trees here died before the Jurassic period (from my recollection) and sank into ancient riverbeds that are now long gone before fossilizing and turning to quartz. It's surreal and like walking through the past. There are petroglyphs as well... I'm a cheap traveler, so I camped in my van at the gift shop right outside the park, as is allowed by the business. Since I have an access pass, I can visit all national parks for free. Otherwise, you pay what I believe to be a reasonable fee to enter for the day. There are dispersed campsites you can backpack to, but you need a permit, which can be obtained at the welcome center. Plenty of bathrooms and places to fill up with water.
