I’m retired and my main objective post retirement is to travel the world. For 45 years my husband has been my travel partner but he passed away unexpectedly in March, 2023. So I’m interested in meeting other women who share my passion for travel. My husband and I visited all 50 states, several of the Caribbean islands, Mexico and Canada. In the past year,‘I have traveled to Italy (twice), Greece, Turkey, and to Alaska for the 2nd time (cruise). I have one son and 2 grandsons; one who is 18 and one 3 yo. Love my boys.

I grew up with a busy and boisterous family so I love any chance I get to spend with other families, spending lots of time playing with kids, and hearing other people's stories! I very much like being outside - playing any sports, running, hiking, anything. I'm also a big fan of the arts - so anything reading/literature, music, writing, theatre, I'm there. (probably) My favorite thing to do is learn new things - my most recent skills I've been learning are pool and frisbee (lol) but truly and genuinely love working at something and growing in an area. With workaway especially I was hoping to make progress in learning French! I do have a very small part-time online job, so whatever place I stay I would need to take a few hours a week to use my computer to complete my tasks.
