About me

Hello crazy ladies! I'm Mel - I live in Bursa but my soul is constantly roaming! ✈️ I work in human resources in daily life; that is, I take the question "will this person go on a long journey with us" seriously in recruitment processes. Now I'm here to introduce myself as "long journey" in this club.🎒 I like dark tunes in music and lots of laughter in conversation. Camping, hiking, streets, street food... I'm all for it. I'm very serious: I have the map, a long playlist and a lighter. Only you are left! Let's meet on the road!🫶🏻✨

About me

Salam! Hi! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I'm yekta. I'm from Iran and I've just moved to izmir with Reyhan. 👭🏽 We are here to study at the graduate level, and yes, we are a little nerdy but open-minded, social people, and goofy as well. 💝 In our culture as Iranians, hospitality is everything, and we spoil our guests to the most. 👩🏻‍🍳 Also, I am an excellent chef, according to my friends and Reyhan, just letting you know. I can cook you persian dishes if you like. 🎎 We both love hosting people in our cosy little apartment with great location, excellent facilities like gym and pool. 🍽 We may offer breakfast or dinner if we have time. 🫖 Hope we see you soon and drink çay with you on our balcony! 🏡 For more info, please leave us a message on WhatsApp: +542 347 0881 Or on Instagram: our.saffron.home

About me

Heyy, I'm Ece. I recently moved to Istanbul for my first job, and I'm saving up for masters (which will take quite some time -so wish me luck!) I like going into the nature, music and food exchange and the beauty of daily simple pleasures. My biggest passion is cooking international food. I also enjoy reading books and sharing quotes with my friends so we can reflect together. I've been to Balkan countries, Italy, Germany, Czechia(where I did my Erasmus, so it has a special place in my heart. ) Poland, Oslo(my first ever solo trip was unbelievably smooth and full of adventures), Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. In my travels, I like to check off my must-see spots first so that I can get lost in streets, connect with locals, try all the local food, and do some shopping. I know I shouldn't hold on to the things I buy while traveling, but they make me feel alive haha I love international environments, deep talks about our 20s, cozy candle light book sessions, minimalism. Sometimes I feel the urge to get out of my comfort zone - after all, we only live once, right? "What you are now, we once were; what we are now, you shall be."

Is Turkey safe for female travelers?

Istanbul, Solo travel

I started the trip by meeting a guy someone I met in couch surfing recommended me. He walked me to my booked hostel and talked to the guy in his language, I went to my shared room where I met a girl who was staying there for some time, a fellow latina and there were a lot of empty beds. I then went to ask to extend my stay a couple of days and the giy said they didnt have capacity, when my fellow latina asked though, they did have space. This seemed suspicious to me as the one I have met insisted that I should stay with him and meet hia friends. The next bad expefience was going out with thw latina girl and suddenly everything changed for me there, she was showing a lot of skin and men went crazy and talked to us in spanish, some of them grabbed me trying to pull me to the back of their shops..horrible. I was not showing much skin, but since I was with someone who was and we were speaking spanish I got tagged as a hooker?

Turkey, Solo travel

It was ok. People are too pick me, but im talking mostly about men, they do not understand sometimes that you're a regular tourist and just interrupt by being to polite. After all they are ok when you want to bargain when buying something, then they are very okay.
