Canakkale, located in Northwestern Turkey on the southern coast of the Dardanelles Strait, is a picturesque city that exhibits an incredible blend of natural beauty, ancient history, and vibrant Turkish culture. It is notably famous as the gateway to the Gallipoli battlefields, where intense fights occurred during World War I, thus, making it a pilgrimage site for many visitors especially Australians and New Zealanders. Tourists also flock to Canakkale to explore the ancient ruined city of Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site believed to be the setting of Homer's epic, The Iliad. In addition to its historical attractions, Canakkale is known for its charming seafront promenade, lively fish markets, and an array of unique boutique shops and restaurants that serve delectable Turkish cuisine.

My sister, my brother in law and I went to the Çanakkale for the camping. We stayed assos for 2 nights and 3 mornings. Our campsite was in a very beautiful and safe place, and everything was available to meet your personal needs. Since no one interfered with each other, we had a very comfortable and pleasant time.
