Hi! Iโm a 22yo sociology student, leftist, cat mom and activist living in Ljubljana. Iโm half-Slovene, half-Italian but my Italian isnโt perfect! Iโd like to travel to explore Croatia, Italy and Austria, and possibly some other nearby countries, so if you want to travel there with a travel buddy, feel free to hit me up! ๐ Iโm also open to discovering other interesting places in Slovenia! โจ Iโm open to meeting new people & hanging out, and I can show you around Ljubljana. Iโm a very calm person whoโs always happy to meet new people. Iโm vegan taking the liberation pledge ๐ฑso Iโd prefer to travel with other vegans or at least have trips where we both eat at vegan restaurants or have cruelty-free/vegan meals elsewhere๐ฑโ๐ป๐ฝ

Hi! ๐ผ๐ท๐บMy name is Rebeka but friends call me Dia. I am from Maribor, Slovenia... A small but special town in a small and unique country. Filled with diverse and friendly people. I live as an artist, painter and love to travel so I can use new insights in the portraits and artwork I do. I love meeting new people, hang out, share stories and laugh. A lot๐ I don't take life too seriously, am spontaneous and I love change and challenge. Other than that I enjoy peaceful days and evenings by myself and share them with those around. I wish you wonderful travels and if you're in Slovenia๐ธ๐ฎ feel free to contact me ๐โ๏ธ๐๐๐

I am a nature lover, who enjoys time outside and loves exploring. I am that person who sees a pretty plant or cloud and I become excited over it ๐ Always up for an adventure, so I am constantly looking for the next one. But generally... I just want this freedom to experience life in fullest.

Hi! I'm Ada and I'm from Poland ๐ If you're looking for a place to stay in Ljubljana, I'm one of the organizers of Autostop House โ a project run by the Polish Hitchhikers Association. It's an open house for travelers โ not a hostel, but a free place where you can rest, meet other people, and enjoy some relaxing time off the road ๐กโจ You donโt need to message me here on Couchsurfing to ask for a place to stay โ just fill out this simple form: https://sites.google.com/autostopowicze.org/autostop-house-2025/ , and one of the hosts from Autostop House will get in touch with you! You can also check out our social media for updates and photos: INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/autostophouse?igsh=N3JicGgxZzFnbnRo FACEBOOK https://www.facebook.com/share/16XjmBwDcw/ โ you're more than welcome to follow and reach out there ๐ As for me โ my favorite way of traveling is hitchhiking and sleeping in a tent somewhere in nature, far from any campsites ๐๐ I started doing it not just because it's affordable for a student, but mostly because it's the best way to meet people, learn about different cultures, and experience a real adventure ๐ My first big trip was last year โ I spent a month traveling through the Balkans, and after that, I knew this was what I wanted to do. Now I'm a proud member of the Polish Hitchhikers Association, and my dream is to become a full-time traveler once I finish university ๐ค ๐ด๐๐

Izola is an absolutely lovely small seaside town that is a summer vacation favorite for Slovenians (so I heard) and i would say it's a hidden gem to replace a visit to Piran with as it's full of a vibrant life of locals, with small open air concerts etc. I stayed at Hostel Alieti which is a big reason for my good experience since I met a lot of lovely slovenians there of all different ages. Restaurant Parangal was also really good. Not a party town, not a town in general so not much to see, but a lovely atmosphere to enjoy. Would recommend cycling, i cycled to Piran back and loved it. Would absolutely recommend and i'm so happy i stumbled across this town on my Interrail.
