About me

Hi! I'm Ada and I'm from Poland ๐Ÿ˜ If you're looking for a place to stay in Ljubljana, I'm one of the organizers of Autostop House โ€“ a project run by the Polish Hitchhikers Association. It's an open house for travelers โ€“ not a hostel, but a free place where you can rest, meet other people, and enjoy some relaxing time off the road ๐Ÿกโœจ You donโ€™t need to message me here on Couchsurfing to ask for a place to stay โ€“ just fill out this simple form: https://sites.google.com/autostopowicze.org/autostop-house-2025/ , and one of the hosts from Autostop House will get in touch with you! You can also check out our social media for updates and photos: INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/autostophouse?igsh=N3JicGgxZzFnbnRo FACEBOOK https://www.facebook.com/share/16XjmBwDcw/ โ€“ you're more than welcome to follow and reach out there ๐Ÿ˜Š As for me โ€“ my favorite way of traveling is hitchhiking and sleeping in a tent somewhere in nature, far from any campsites ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ• I started doing it not just because it's affordable for a student, but mostly because it's the best way to meet people, learn about different cultures, and experience a real adventure ๐Ÿ˜ My first big trip was last year โ€“ I spent a month traveling through the Balkans, and after that, I knew this was what I wanted to do. Now I'm a proud member of the Polish Hitchhikers Association, and my dream is to become a full-time traveler once I finish university ๐Ÿค ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿœ๐Ÿž

About me

Iโ€™m a 29-year-old Slovenian girl who loves to travel, going to concerts and meeting new people. I am a social worker and I lead a LGBT+ NGO in Ljubljana. I used to Couchsurf a lot (you can still find my profile there) and Iโ€™ve recently discovered this app. If youโ€™re an open-inded and tidy person weโ€™ll probably click. ๐Ÿ˜€

About me

Iโ€™m 25 years old, a young and reflexive explorer and often solo traveler open and curious to meet new various people. I like to discuss politics, but not just current events but more importantly how people experience political life and society in their everyday life. And especially when talking to women I like to share experiences of how it is to be a woman in this society. I believe there is more feminism work to be done, again and again ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป. I also like small talking Iโ€™m not just a nerd โ˜บ๏ธ. I like to walk, dance and spend time in nature, do yoga and go to parties with good music (techno, rock, synth and 80s pop). I love to discover the music and the food of the country that Iโ€™m visiting ๐ŸŒธ.

Solo travel

Love Ljubljana! It is a very beautiful and young city. It is very easy to connect and meet other solo travelers and make great experiences with each other. The local food is alright, but not suited for vegetarians. But I felt very safe as a woman :)

Couple travel

I didn't know that I needed a vacay in this city till I had it! After one year, I still cant get over THE VIBES! I'm ecstatic how safe this city felt, especially after living in many western european cities for the last 5 years. The old town is just amazing: the Cankarjevo Nabrezje, the Triple Bridge, the Dragon Bridge, are all musts that one cannot miss. Lots of shops with dragon-souvenirs and interesting thrift stores with variety. With my partner we did the Escape from Ljubljana Castle which was super fun and well organized. In general the prices are not expensive, ut depends on one's budget ofc but overall there are places for everyone. We did Cantina mexicana and found them fair. There was also an open kitchen str food festival that we found super cool- every Friday at Pogaฤarjev Trg in the Old Town near the Tripple Bridge. I wasn't wowed by tivoli park ljubljana but it was a nice park to walk to, it felt clean and safe even after dusk. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did :)
