I'm a college students studying in the U.S. and I'm originally from China. I fell in love with traveling during my study abroad semester in Paris, and during that time I visited a several countries and cities in Europe and North Africa. I'm a huge fan of art museums and folk songs, and love learning about different cultures and languages. Currently I'm planning on a backpacking trip across Eurasia to learn about different folk songs and their connections to cultural heritage and evolution.

A very charming and beautiful town in Central Mexico that you may want to consider a stop in. I felt very safe there. And a lot of the American ex-pats I met said the same but they did caution me not to travel at night. They mentioned a few airport shuttles etc. being stopped and passengers being held up.
Posted: September 12, 2023I stayed for one and a half days and then decided to leave. Felt safe and never had any issues. It's a gorgeous, small city, great for taking pictures but quite pricey and very touristy.
Posted: July 30, 2023San Miguel was one of my favorite places in Mexico. I did not find it more expensive than Oaxaca, or CDMX. The market in San Miguel was one of my favorites.
