I’m a third-year business student from Tampere, Finland, currently on exchange in Salzburg, Austria until January. I love hiking and all kinds of outdoor activities, and I can’t wait for winter to hit so I can go skiing. True to Finnish style, my winter hobbies also include sauna and ice swimming! Indoors, my favorite hobby is CrossFit:) I enjoy traveling, but so far I’ve only explored European countries. I’m really looking forward to the day when I have the time and budget to travel more Asia and new Zealand🙌🏼 My friends say I’m the kind of person who always says yes to everything, and I believe life is all about collecting as many experiences as possible <3
Sophia
Vienna

Hey everyone! I'm Sophia, living in Vienna and always up for good chats, random adventures, and coffee that turns into plans. My first solo trip was in 2017 — five months across Oceania and Asia. I came back with sand in my backpack, a mild addiction to rice dishes, and an even stronger addiction to exploring new places. 🌍 I love nature, city walks, and laughing at my own bad sense of direction. I’m that clumsy person who somehow stumbles over her own feet, but also into the best spots and events. ☀ Always up for meeting new people from all over the world, trying new restaurants, learning about different cultures and sharing laughs and stories. 💚

Heyy! I’m Aylin, 24 years old, and I quit my job in August 2024 to travel the world.🌍 I’m always curious about new countries and cultures. I’m a nature lover, a foodie, and always up for a little adventure! So far, this journey has brought me some unforgettable moments—like seeing Angkor Wat in real life or diving with sharks in the Philippines. But honestly, my favorite memories come from the amazing locals I’ve met along the way, who welcomed me into their everyday lives and gave me a deeper understanding of their culture.✨ I’m a mix of adventure-seeker and quiet soul. I love meaningful conversations and genuine connections, though I’m also quite introverted and appreciate some quiet time now and then. Partys and alcohol are not my thing. I’d describe myself as empathetic, respectful, easygoing, and tidy. Looking forward to connecting with like-minded travelers!🌞

Sarah
Salzburg

I am Sarah (she/her) a 24 year old living in Salzburg. There I study Communication, Culture and Participation with a focus on Diversity, Gender and Equity. I am passionate about learning & spreading knowledge about gender equality. I work in a Salzburg-based initiative that empowers women from diverse backgrounds through intercultural dialogue, workshops, and community events. I also love dance, music, crocheting, horses and photography - currently I am building my portfolio as a concert photographer. Most often I find myself travelling to new placee because of an event that is taking place there, like concerts, festivals or exhibitions - and I love love meeting new people on the way! I would much rather spend an afternoon exploring exciting topics of conversation over a nice cup of coffee with a new friend, than visiting the sights; hopefully building a lifelong friendship as we go! Upon meeting me I am usually a rather quiet person who listens and asks a lot. I value open communication, respecting boundaries and active listening. If this is given, I feel secure to open up and show my passionate and energetic side and thereby really connect with a person. I respect all walkes of life and appreciate various types of humour; and I'm definitely curious of meeting people that can challenge and expand my own worldviews.
One of the safest cities that I have been to. Many attractions, beautiful architecture, history, good wine. People are really friendly, especially stuff in restaurants or bars. Prices are pretty high but you can find different options. Very clear public transport, it's easy to travel and hard to get lost haha.
Posted: September 27, 2025I felt safe, i had a lot of fun with my family, but I struggled with food because I'm vegetarian. The city is beautiful and FULL of history and art. I loved it. I suggest you to visit the museum of the war because it is underrated
