Croatia is generally safe for solo female travellers. The country is known for its friendly locals and stunning scenery, and the crime rate is low. Women should take the same precautions as they would in any other country, such as avoiding walking alone at night and being aware of their surroundings. With the right preparation and precautions, solo female travellers can have a safe and enjoyable experience in Croatia.

I did Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Split last year. Dubrovnik was my favorite. I started there and then took a ferry to Hvar. From there I took another ferry to Split and then a flixbus to Zadar. I found Dubrovnik a lot prettier than Split and overall nicer vibes. Hvar was stunning and so nice to relax and swim. Felt very safe.
Posted: October 1, 2023Croatia was really stunning with many remarkable historical places. The weather was pleasant and sunny, but not too hot. Everyone speaks English, the roads are good, the buses and ferries are reliable. It is also very clean and safe. I began my trip in Zagreb, where I rented a car and drove to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Then I took the bus and ferry down the Adriatic coast, beginning in Zadar, then to Trogir, Split, Hvar, Korcula, and Mljet Islands, and ending in Dubrovnik. Croatia is a great place to visit.
Posted: August 3, 2023Croatia is beautiful, full of culture, and very safe, making it a perfect spot for a solo vacation. I visited Dubrovnik, Pula, Zadar, Split, and Sibenik. I highly recommend all of these cities, but Zadar and Sibenik were my top picks.

Iโm looking into a solo trip next Summer in Europe and Croatia is one of my stops. Iโm considering going to Hideout Festival and wondered if anyone had any experience with hostels near by and the festival in general? Any tips on Croatia would also be amazing as Iโll be travelling afterwards.
