Is Dubai safe for solo female travelers?

Dubai, is largely safe for solo female travelers. The city is one of the safest in the Middle East due to strict laws that are heavily enforced. Petty crime rates are considerably low and violent crime is rare. However, it's still a good idea to exercise common caution and aware of local customs and laws. It's especially important to respect local dress codes and public behavior regulations to avoid any unnecessary attention or issues.

It was fun, but you have to book popular attractions beforehand. Like on 30th December it was impossible to buy tickets to the Museum of the Future until 12th January. Overall I felt safe, but I lived at the friend‘s house in the good residential area (as a one my taxi drivers said). And I even went to take my friend‘s dog for a walk at night alone. The people were very friendly and warm. The public transport mostly useful in the main locations. So I had to use taxis a lot. But on the bright side there’re women only cabins in the subway. It’s a little bit more crowded, but I think it’s...

Solo travel

Just got back from Dubai and honestly, I felt super safe and welcome the whole time—even wandering around random side streets or alleys on my own. Of course I checked out the common must-see spots (Burj Khalifa, desert tour, etc.), but what I loved most was chatting with locals and diving into the cultural side of the city! Dubai is a considerably safe city and you can roam around without worrying too much, if you’re in the known, busy, tourist-friendly areas. Still, as always (irrespective of location) - be mindful and trust your instincts.

I am in Dubai right now, and from what I see and hear, it’s really safe. If you want to travel alone here, it’s perfect. They even have pink taxis for women only. Don’t hesitate, it’s really safe here.

Very safe for women and families. Yes, there are certain areas where I would not go at night or alone, but that’s only a few residential neighborhoods. Majority of the places are extremely safe and you can see the police patrolling at night even in the deserts!
