Dubai is very safe for women in general. I recommend traveling here even if you're solo. The public beaches aren't the perfect place tho. Some people stare at you awkwardly when you're in a bikini. So maybe you can try private beach clubs or sth

This city is ABSOLUTELY amazing! I was traveling solo and I really felt safe there. Though it was quite expensive, it's totally worth it! It's like a mini-Europe type of city with skyscrappers, and beautiful places to see! I totally recommend visiting it.

I had a great trip to Dubai recently. I have visited many times before but for this trip I was here for COP28 and to try different foods. I felt very safe in Dubai as a woman and protected - there’s lots of security and police around and people to help. I stayed in an Airbnb close to the metro station which was convenient to get around easily. The food varies from place to place dependent on your budget but overall there are strong safety standards for food and quality. The local Emirati people have been so friendly and hospitable and it was a fantastic experience this time. I would recommend Dubai for anyone regardless of budget.

What can I say about Dubai? The most amazing city in the world! I felt safe and I used to take night walks along Dubai Marina Walk alone. It was so beautiful and I cannot wait to go back soon. Do no skip a boat ride in Dubai Marina. As cheap as AED 100 for 2 hours.

I couldn't wait to leave. It's definitely a very safe, but boring city. I like to travel to experience culture and meet people, but everyone I met were not Emiratis, but foreign workers. The only thing I enjoyed was the museum in Dubai, which is small but informative. Everything else was artificial and fake.

I loved Dubai. I've been there twice and I'd do it again. I never felt unsafe. I did a tour of the Bedouin desert, climbed the Burj Khalifa, watched the musical fountain before it, went skiing in the world's largest shopping mall, visited the largest flower garden in the world and the world's largest butterfly garden, took a water taxi to Old Dubai to the spice market, climbed The Frame and visited the Etihad Museum.

Dubai is very safe for women. I used to walk there at night and I felt very safe, there were even taxis (Pink Taxis) exclusively for women. There is so much to see and do, an amazing experience that I highly recommend. My top attractions are Burj Khalifa, Fountain Dance, Wild Wadi water park, and skydiving at Skydive Dubai.

I went to Dubai alone. I really loved this place, it's safe and there's lots to do for a solo traveler. I participated in a desert safari, climbed the Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah and ate a lot of food. I had an amazing time there.

I traveled alone to Dubai and had a wonderful time there. It's a very modern place with many travelers. I signed up for a few interesting excursions, which I completed with other people. I took a city cruise and also participated in a desert safari, which was epic. I felt very safe all the time.

Local tips

I live in Dubai and honestly, as a woman, I love this place, we are very respected here. There are people who stare, but you know you are safe. Even when I go to a party, I never have problems with catching a taxi, drinking alcohol or wearing whatever I want.

We have a metro system that runs along the main road cutting through the city (Sheikh Zayed Road). The suburb where the Museum of the Future is located is primarily a business district. We are not a city where a lot of walking is done, but improvements are beginning to appear in this regard, for example, pedestrian paths. I would recommend accommodation in Downtown, Marina or Palm (although the city center is literally two metro stations from the museum). Taxis are also ridiculously cheap.

About Me

I like to walk through cities and love to discover them. I'm interested in the architecture and the old and typical of a country... I also like to just enjoy the peace and quiet, sit in a park or by the water and sometimes I want to try things that are full of action, it could be a turbo slide or something completely new and crazy... I am also interested in natural cosmetics and healthy eating, but chocolate is a must every day...
