It’s a thriving and wonderful city full of fun and caring people. Always ready to help and keep you company. The city is known for its beaches, restaurants, markets. The safety is fine, only mugs could be a problem, but the war is a peril to your life, naturally.

if being honest, i’m very very alarming person, so i can worried about things that never happened to me. i think Odessa is safe, but.. you know that men still don’t safe for us, girls. so i still recommend being on guard and carry something with you for self-defense

It is a fairly safe city, but far from perfect. We sure have enough of creepy people, stealing is fairly common, so it's better to look after your belongings, especially on markets or crowded streets.

Right now, we have a war, so I guess it's not safe. But we have a life here as well. Restaurants, theatres, shopping malls, and cinemas are working. We have a curfew, but yet we have sometimes parties.

Depending on the neighborhood that you stay in you can feel either absolutely safe or definitely unsafe. !! I should say that nowadays there is no totally safe space in Ukraine because of russia, so if you hear air raid siren in any of districts, I strongly recommend to go to the shelter. !! The super safe districts are: 1. Park Peremohy (Victory's Park) and Shevchenko prospect area: in my opinion, one of the safest zones you can walk in.
