Is Wellington safe for solo female travelers?

I've never experienced anything that has made me feel unsafe in my years living here. I guess so long as you always listen to your gut instinct, you'll be absolutely fine !! The night life here is good as well ! Just make sure you have someone looking after you as a women 🥰 We gotta stick together

Wellington is most safe depending on what areas you stay in. The city centre is great, well lit and plenty people around. I would avoid the night clubs though, that’s what typically makes the city feel unsafe

On the whole very safe, it’s a pretty small city and people generally look out for each other. Like anywhere I wouldn’t say walking alone at night is recommended but I have many times and it’s always been okay :))

Pretty safe. Usual sort of stuff applies though like it’s not guaranteed safe to walk around at night. You wouldn’t really experience any issues day to day. Chill place with good vibe. Some homeless people etc.

Wellington is very safe. I personally have never experienced anything untoward from men. However, I have experienced cat-calling over the years, but this seems to have lessened as the world gets more progressive and men begin to use more of their brains. Keep your usual smarts about you, follow your instinct, and make sure you're with people if you're drinking.
