Solo travel experience

A very charming and beautiful town in Central Mexico that you may want to consider a stop in. I felt very safe there. And a lot of the American ex-pats I met said the same but they did caution me not to travel at night. They mentioned a few airport shuttles etc. being stopped and passengers being held up.

Solo travel experience

I stayed for one and a half days and then decided to leave. Felt safe and never had any issues. It's a gorgeous, small city, great for taking pictures but quite pricey and very touristy.

Solo travel experience

San Miguel was one of my favorite places in Mexico. I did not find it more expensive than Oaxaca, or CDMX. The market in San Miguel was one of my favorites.
