I went to Goa with a group of friends. Very memorable. Beaches, the views and everything is amazing. I also did paragliding there is the Baga beach.

Go to South Goa if you are looking for serene locations and authentic food. We stayed at a resort called Beleza by the Bay. It’s excellent with easy access to a beach.

Goa is nice, though not too safe. However, public transport is good and safe for women—this is my personal experience. South India is much safer compared to the North; the robbery rate is lower in the southern part of India. Overall, it is a nice place to travel.

Goa is one of the prettiest and safest place in India. You will greenery everywhere you go! People are sweet and believe in the simplicity and slow living in life. You can travel to places, shop, get in adventure rides.

Goa looks like a safe state, with different locations. There are a lot of security cameras in Anjuna Beach, for example. People don't usually walk, they all use motorcycles as a main source of transportation. The streets are dark by night.
Posted: March 20, 2025North Goa: Some parts are safer than the others; avoid Baga / Calangute areas alone at night. Stay in Parra/Siolim/Vagator. Great if you know how to ride a scooter. Perfect in small groups. Beaches from the Morjim - Mandrem stretch are the best in the North.
