Even though there's no metro system, areas of interest are well-connected. However keep in mind, navigation might be a bit challenging for non-Greek speakers as some signs are only in Greek.

The city’s unique mythology being the home of Jason and the Argonauts provides an enriching experience. The charming coastal promenade is also a delight — abundant with oxopantarias (traditional coffeehouses) and tsipouradika (taverns serving tsipouro with mezes). A walk by the seafront promenade is an absolute joy. Don't forget to explore the enthralling Pelion Mountain, perfect for hiking, and offers breathtaking views. Key attractions also include the beautiful church of Saints Constantine and Helen, as well as the Anavros park. Overall, Volos delivers an engaging experience, although it might lack some of the polish of more well-trodden tourist trails.
