It’s quite safe as far as I know. I didn’t have any unpleasant experiences since I moved here and personally feel comfortable walking around the city alone even late at night or early in the morning after a late night outing.

Volos is safe enough for people to feel free about going out or raising their kids in the city so I would definitely recommend that you try this location for safety reasons as the city has a low rate of crime

It's pretty safe for women, in most places in the city. The life in Volos doesn't stop at night and has people all over, so you feel mostly safe. But you have to be careful, specifically at night, at some roads in the city that they don't have a lot of lights. I have lived here for almost 2 years, and nothing dangerous has happened to me, but maybe because I'm too protective and careful or just lucky.🤷‍♀️
