It's safe enough, Giza is part of Egypt's Capital. I feel safe enough to go out on my own, however just like most girls in every country I still don't feel a 100% safe all of the time, but that's not about Egypt specifically it's a worldwide struggle
Posted: January 20, 2025I feel safe here We are a cooperative people who love to offer help without expecting anything in return .I know some tourist attractions and foreign friends but my language skills are somewhat weak
Posted: January 2, 2025Giza is one of the most down to earth places you can go, people can be very helpful and friendly. But as a solo female traveller they can also be overly curious.Men especially will probably scan you constantly, Catcalling is likely to happen in egypt, and harassment does happen but mostly only on public transportation, which is not recommended. It is best not to go everywhere alone. But if you have no one to accompany you, go to more modern or touristic places like; zamalek, maadi, sheikh zayed. Or visit wherever you like but the earlier you yo the better.
