Fortaleza is like any other capital in Brazil, you can walk safely on the streets as long as you’re aware of your surroundings. It’s a beautiful city, full of light and life, and its people always receives you with warmth

You need to be careful. After all, no where is 100% safe for women. I wouldn't recommend walking alone after dark (not on foot), ubers are usually safe, and during the day, public transportation is also a good option. But always keep an eye out for suspicious men to avoid any unwanted interaction or mugs. Generally, I don't worry much as local, but remember to always be careful.
Posted: January 20, 2025It depends of every region. During the day I feel safe, but during the night it depends how far or poor places you are. But mostly it’s a safe place. I never been robbed in my life and I always take care about myself a lot!

Hi! I'm Larissa, a Brazilian woman who wants to know more people and their cultures, minds, foods, behaviors, passions. I love meeting people and other ways of thinking and seeing the world. I am a psychologist, couples and family therapist, so human relationships fascinate me. I have a little poodle, Bella, who accompanies me on the paths of life. I want to improve my English and Spanish. Exchanging stories and knowledge is always a good idea. I love taking pictures and capturing little moments that make us remember the joys of life. The sunset is magical, and the moon enchants me.
