Is Phuket Province Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

I was in Thailand for the first time, I liked everything so much: people, the beach, the sea - everything is wonderful. The sea in April was very warm, the weather is gorgeous, there are few tourists!

I am a solo traveler and safety is very important to me. I didn’t feel anything bad or dangerous in Phuket, even very late at night (arrived at my bungalow 1 a.m - left the place to eat since I was very hungry after a 10-hour flight). The neighborhood where my accommodation was, was alive with very friendly and helpful locals (Kata Beach) 🏖️ … felt safe and sound during my 10-day stay.
