Is Phuket Province safe for solo female travelers?

I am a solo traveler and safety is very important to me. I didn’t feel anything bad or dangerous in Phuket, even very late at night (arrived at my bungalow 1 a.m - left the place to eat since I was very hungry after a 10-hour flight). The neighborhood where my accommodation was, was alive with very friendly and helpful locals (Kata Beach) 🏖️ … felt safe and sound during my 10-day stay.
