Is Nonsan safe for solo female travelers?

Nonsan is generally a very safe city for solo female travelers. Like most parts of South Korea, it enjoys a low crime rate. People are known for their discipline and respect towards others, including women. Street harassment is almost unheard of and personal safety is largely assured. Due to its small size, it rarely has any large crowds or confusing structures, which might otherwise present potential safety issues. It is also well lit, even during the night. While always important to remain vigilant, you can generally feel very secure when travelling there.
