Nestled on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa, the vibrant town of Muizenberg is a celebrated destination known for its laid-back surfing culture and vibrant beach huts dotting the shoreline. Its prime location on the extensive False Bay, characterized by warm water and reliable waves, makes it a paradise for surfing enthusiasts and a family-friendly retreat. I travelled to South Africa to volunteer at a school. It was an incredible experience that I would do again! I felt relatively safe however I chose to be cautious and never travel alone, especially at night. There are many fun things to do such as visit the penguin beach, go on a safari, and go hiking.
