Jeffery’s bay is moderately safe in majority of the areas. You can’t and shouldn’t walk around at night much like anywhere in South Africa. You always have to be aware of your surroundings and try to travel in groups

Jeffreys Bay is one of the safest towns I've been in. Kids are out till dark and are always safe and happy. Locals are kind and caring and care for the safety of our town. Lovely areas everywhere and great local security.

Jeffreys Bay is relatively safe during the day. Avoid walking alone at night. Keep your personal belongings on your body because there is petty crime. Do not leave your belongings on the beach when you go for a swim in the ocean.
