Is Zilina worth visiting?

Is Zilina safe for women?

Žilina is overall safe and peaceful city. There has been incidents yet despite them, most of the locals are normal… maybe a bit grumpy but not in a threatening way. There are weirdos everywhere, but if you usually look at them angrily or tell them to piss off, they let you be. I’ve been living here sinice birth and I’d like to live in a city like this when I get older.

I have been living in Žilina my whole life. I think it is like any other city in middle/eastern Europe. If you go late at night you will encounter creep but mostly they do not pay attention to you. During the day I feel 100% safe and would recommend visiting my city

About Me

I am looking forward to travelling the world and meeting new people. I have looked forward to the feeling of slight anxiety when leaving home for a new adventure for quite some time now. I am an extroverted, well mannered, strong-minded and well spoken young woman. My family has been a Couchsurfing host family for around 10 years now and I think it is the right time I experinece the other side of the spectrum(the guests side). I am accustomed to waking up to random backpackers being in my room and then talking to them and laughing all morning long. I am extremely excited for my new adventures and hope some of you reading this will be a part of my story. My plan is to go to medical school so I am trying to travel while I still have time⛰️
