Is Panglao safe for solo female travelers?

Panglao is very touristy and with this comes with random presence of police. Guards can also be seen in some establishments. It’s mid laid back so a bit of a mix. Of course, be aware at all times. Petty crimes can happen.

I'm living in Panglao for like 4 months, I cannot say that something happened during this time. Loack people are friendly and helpful all the time! Foe usre you don't need to go with strangers somwhere - but it's obvious I guess:) foreigners can be more dangerous in this case
