it’s not a place where you completely let your guard down. Most people go about their daily lives without problems, but you need to be aware of your surroundings, especially at night, and be careful with your phone, valuables, and transportation. If you use common sense and know where you’re going, you’ll probably be fine

Lagos is weird. It’s not the safest place. You can feel unsafe in your uber and in the presence of police. It’s not the best. I’ve lived here my whole life so I’ve learnt to live with it and act like things are normal but they are not.

Lagos is generally an unsafe place. From the presence of thugs to the corruption of the police. Lagos is a misogynistic state and it shows in how harassment is treated and taken as the norm. There are definitely safe parts of Lagos. Those are the parts I would recommend to tourists
