Is Lagos Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

While Lagos is a majorly vibrant and culturally rich city, safety can be a concern. As everywhere, experiences could vary but generally safety concerns involve pickpocketing, scams, and harassment, which tend to increase if you travel alone as a female. Solo travel

My experience in Lagos was fun, adventurous, though the traffic there is hell but I still enjoyed my stay there. Good food, nice people, nice and busy place to visit. It's somewhere you just need to visit and you will live your experience with the right people or person

Is Lagos safe for women?

Well, Lagos is divided into two popularly known as Lagos Island and Lagos Mainland. Lagos island is for the wealthy aristocrats, it's also a place that attracts investors from all over the world. Lagos mainland on the other hand is pretty rough and notorious for criminal activities. But, as a foreigner exploring Lagos be it on the Island or mainland, the locals are really welcoming. The only thing that a foreigner should be aware of is safeguarding their important documents and money
