Is Hamilton worth visiting?

Is Hamilton safe for women?

Hamilton is generally a safe city. It’s fairly safe after dark when the city is busy in the pub/club/restaurant areas but once they quieten down/close I would be home as there can be an element of undesirables that hang about later. Don’t walk after dark by yourself, safe to walk with another or a group. My daughter and I often take a 30 minute evening stroll after dinner when it is dark and have never had any problem in our residential suburb. There are certain suburbs I wouldn’t walk in.
