There are a lot of violent groups of teenagers that stab and beat each other. Mostly, the public is safe despite their presence, but some times (not always or often), they verbally harass people on the street. With civilians*( people outside their group/ "gang"), it rarely reaches the level of a criminal offense. The police don't do much about it, though, since technically, it's nothing legally troubing. There are also a handful of people with severe substance abuse issues out and about....

Vlissingen is pretty safe. We have had a few shootings. But it was between family’s. As far as I’m aware, no innocent people have been in contact with it. It was back in May, there were 3 shootings at houses. But since then, nothing anymore. There’s mostly fireworks going off in the evening.
