Its a pretty safe place i would say that there are definitely places that are definitely less safe then others but overall its pretty safe. The centrum is pretty lively both during the day and at night. There is like basically one street full of clubs where most people go to and i would say going clubbing is overal a safe experience. Overall Tilburg is quite a safe city. The public transport is well organized, there is a lot of light in the city center and other than the fact that being a woman is hard and scary sometimes, you don’t have to overly worry in this place. Also, often police, or boa (kind of security police with less qualification) are driving or biking around a lot. Also at night. Tilburg has a very nice atmosphere. Woman wear all kinds of clothes, and I have never felt like this was a problem. Personally I never felt unsafe in my city. I feel like woman are being respected there.
