Is Schagen safe for solo female travelers?

Schagen is a small city in the north of the Netherlands, there are mainly a lot of old people living there. During the day it is super safe, at night it is lively in the centre and quite outside. I have never felt unsafe, also not at night. There is also regularly police patrolling.
