Is Petra Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Petra is generally safe for solo female travelers. The locals are usually welcoming, and the city itself is heavily toured so you are likely to be surrounded by other travelers as well. However, like any destination, it is important to stay aware of your surroundings, especially in more isolated parts of the city. Solo travelHow much money should I convert to Jordanian dinar for food/drink/souvenirs in Petra Jordan?

Approximately how much money did you spend at Petra Jordan for food/drink/souvenirs? I have a tour booked so entrance fees/tip are covered but I'm unsure how much money I should convert to Jordanian dinar as I'll only be in Jordan one day (land crossing from Israel).
