It's extremely safe here, and although many locals can't speak much English, people are generally friendly here! I've walked home drunk late at night from the bus stop down quiet roads, and haven't ever felt unsafe.

About Me

Hello everyone! I'm a South African woman who's been living and teaching in Japan since February 2024. I've done a bit traveling over the past year, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more areas in Japan and eventually other countries, too! I'm the busy-bee type when traveling, so my itinerary is often packed with outdoor activities and sightseeing, but I do enjoy the quiet moments in-between. I'm a bit introverted, but I'm looking forward to meeting others through this app!
