Is Fukui safe for solo female travelers?

Fukui is inherently safe for solo female travelers. The crime rate is extremely low and the locals are often helpful and respectful. Public transportation is safe and reliable, and numerous conveniences such as clean public restrooms, well-lit streets, and safe accommodations are readily available.
