Thessaloniki is a beautiful city, rich in history, culture, and close enough to mt Olympus you could do a day hike with many local hiking options! I am not big on night life but my roommate and some friends were and absolutely love it.
I spent a semester here for a study abroad program and would recommend it to anyone!!
