Is Nafplion safe for solo female travelers?

Nafplion is regarded as one of the safest destinations for solo female travelers. The town is relatively small and intimate with friendly locals always ready to assist. Crime rate is quite low and there are hardly any dangerous areas. Extreme caution or protective measures aren't usually necessary but of course, basic safety precautions are always advised.
