Is Municipality of Athens safe for solo female travelers?

We had a great time in Athens, the history is great however in some areas we dis not feel super safe (nothing happed though). It was great to stay a couple of days but happy we didn’t stay too long either

Serious random violence is rare.People are around.Streets are lively late.Women move freely.Walking alone, using transport, existing without constant fear is normal.some petty crime and chaotic areas.

There are a lot of placea is my town that it is dangerous for everyone to be there with no reason. There are people that may be thieves or drug dealers. In the center is more safe but like everywhere you have to be carefoul with your personal belongings wherever its crowded.
