Santa Teresa, Puntarenas, CR This area is for adventurers, mostly all dirt and gravel roads, 4x4 car or ATV recommended. Lots of beautiful beach spots, lots of great restaurants, plenty of hostels, hotels and AirBnBs. I stayed at a Booking.com apartment, it was secure and safe. Restaurants were average price, not as pricey as some of the other touristy areas in CR.
