Is Boa Vista safe for solo female travelers?

Boa Vista, as with any other urban city, presents both safe and less safe areas. It's generally secure during the day, particularly in populated locations; however, it is advisable to maintain alertness and avoid isolated areas, particularly after dark. Local knowledge is highly recommended to avoid risky areas. Precautionary measures like not flashing valuable belongings can help ensure personal safety. Utilizing trusted transportation services and being cautious of unfamiliar people will also contribute to a safer journey.

About me

Just a reminder that I live in Brazil so I speak Brazilian Portuguese not Portuguese from Portugal. I'd like to make friendships with people from other countries, I really want to learn other languages and this would be a great way for me to keep in touch and have friends. I'm trying learn Italian and I would like to learn Arabic and Japanese, my great grandmother is from Asia, I'm not sure which country, but I think at least learning one is enough. I'm not interested in being a hostess, my goal would be to go out and show people the city and let them know that they have someone to count on (except for the afternoons from Monday to Friday because I study).
