A 100% perfect trip to the Yerevan, Armenia 🇦🇲. It was group trip, we met 2 weeks before it on the group in telegram for students. We decided to go to the Yerevan because we are W&T participants and visa is our necessity. So we get our visas and spend great time together 🌹🍷

before going there, i read some posts about travel experience in Yerevan on Chinese social media. and they say that eating there can be even more expensive than in tbilisi. they recommend a few buget restaurants and i tried two of them. Fourchette buffet is the better one. i ordered some beans, beetroot and two chicken wings which was recommended by the friendly server. they also have bread and other set meals. mine cost around 1500 which is an affordable price in yerevan.
Posted: June 9, 2024Experienced: May, 2024I LOVED Yerevan/armenia in general! Felt like a blend of European/middle eastern/russian/central Asian cultures. Hotels & airbnb’s were more expensive than I was expecting. The food was delicious. I recommend doing a couple of day trips down south and also up to lake sevan
Posted: April 24, 2024I was in Yerevan for a week, and I had a great time! It’s a small city, so a week is enough. The people there are very friendly, the food very delicious, and the prices cheap! Would go again, but maybe in the summer :)
Posted: April 2, 2024Experienced: April, 2024Armenia is amazing if you are a girl. Locals are very sweet and respectful, they would never let you carry a heavy bag by yourself and everyone is always willing to show you around or give directions. Taxi is available and affordable and there will always be an empty room at a hotel. The local food is a form of art. And everything is VERY cheap. Overall just an amazing place to visit!!
Posted: November 18, 2023I was there on business, but I stayed for an additional 3 days. I fell in love with this beautiful city. There was so much to discover, and the people were so welcoming! I felt very safe. The restaurants, accommodation, and transport (apart from the cost of the flight) were good and inexpensive. I hope that one day I can return there!
Posted: March 3, 2023To-do: - Victory Park - Mother Armenia Monument - Republic Square - Cascade - Saint Gregory Cathedral - Freedom Square - Opera House - Swan Lake Safety: I can definitely confirm that it's very safe there. Recommendations: Yerevan is really a pretty city, although there's not a lot to do there, so I wouldn't spend too much time there.
Posted: September 13, 2022Things to do: - Mother Armenia - Cascade Complex - Armenian Genocide Memorial - Northern Avenue - Republic Square - Garni Temple - Symphony of Stone - Tsaghkadzor Security: As a woman, I felt completely safe. Recommendations: Yerevan is a nice city, but potentially one day is enough for it.
Posted: September 6, 2022To do: - Republic Square - Cascade Complex - Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex - Zvartnots Cathedral - Mother Church of Holy Etchmiadzin - Vernissage Safety: I felt really safe. Recommendations: Yerevan is a wonderful city that is not dominated by tourists and from here you can easily embark on many day trips.

It is very safe during the day, but sometimes at night if its a lonely road some cars stop… they dont come out but I feel threatened a little bit. Once I got my wallet stolen. Apart from that it is a good place
Posted: April 16, 2025Yerevan has generally been safe for me in the 25 years of my life here. Petty crime is low but I’d still advise to keep a watch on your items. I have, however, been groped without my consent in public several times. The risk of sexual harassment is still low compared to many other places in the world, but you’re still gonna get started at and receive unwanted attention especially if you’re even slightly alt. That’s the main thing making me uncomfortable here, but I would say as a tourist you’ll be fine!
