Public transportation:Safe
Public transportation in Sevan is generally safe. Buses and minivans (marshrutkas) are the most common forms of transportation and they are generally well-maintained and reliable. However, the schedules can be inconsistent, and language might be a barrier if you don't speak Armenian or Russian. As with any public transportation, always be aware of your belongings as pick-pocketing can occur, though it's relatively rare. Overall, Sevan offers a safe and functional public transport system but minor challenges can present themselves occasionally.
