Pictured Rocks is without a doubt the most beautiful place I’ve ever been! I spent a week backpacking through the national lakeshore, plus a little bit of time in Munising and Grand Marais. Outside of one stormy night where I thought my tent might blow over, I felt 100% safe, even though I was backcountry camping alone.
