About me

Hi, my name is Denisa, I'm 20 and currently located in Bucharest for my bachelor's. I came to really love this city and its chaotic diversity and I would love to share my knowledge with you! We can take walks, visit cute spots or I can take you raving if that's your cup of tea. I am originally from Brașov, Transylvania, so if your trip goes that far I can give you tips for there as well! I am currently focused on visiting as much of Europe as I can, and I only recently found the beauty of solo travel.

Is Bucharest worth visiting?

4 /5

Based on 15 experiences

Group travel

Bucharest is a very beautiful city. You can explore most of it in 2-3 days, and you will be able to keep the trip low budget. You should visit their museum, bookshop (Carturesti Carusel) and the Parliament. I felt a bit unsafe during nighttime, whenever my male friends weren't around.

Solo travel

Hello, My first visit to Bucharest and I am delighted by what I see. A mix of old and modern, sometimes a bit confusing, but very pleasant to look at. I plan to come back to Romania to visit Transylvania. Fatma

About Me

Hey, hiii, hellooošŸ‘‹ Iā€™m Sydney! A self-proclaimed thoughtful, laid-back, & curious 29yoā€”now novice solo traveleršŸ«¶šŸ» Solo travel wasn't something I ever saw myself doing, but after my first international solo trip last year, fell in love with it. Despite the nerves, I realized Iā€™m far more capable than I thought. Turns out, Iā€™m someone enjoys taking the scenic routeā€”both literally and figuratively. I'd much rather slow down, soak in the details, and savor the experience instead of rushing through places. And while I wouldnā€™t necessarily call myself a foodie, Iā€™ll still always say yes to trying local pastries or grabbing coffeeā˜•ļø! More than anything, though, I love discovering scenic spots and connecting with people who appreciate meaningful conversations. Always happy to swap travel tips, share stories, or just enjoy good company in a new placešŸ˜Œ
